reading is fun

I just spent the weekend in the mountains up by timp. It was an awesome trip I did a little fishing I did some reading. life is good. You know up in the clear mountain air you can see allot more, you can see the milky way, you can see farther in every direction you look, and you can see god staring you rite in the face with the majestic nature around you.

I was reading Isaac Asimov's foundation book that I think is very interesting. Something about a royal galactic empire, kings, and caste systems toppling, a new religion of science and technology being born and each chapter almost being a new generation in that story line is just amazing.

Quirk 1 - I like to eat stale marshmallows when they are hard and dry... hmmmmm sounds good I think I will have one now.

on this not so special day, really a day like many others... well really a day like almost all other work days where I don't have plans after work (doesn't happen often) I am catching up on stuff I haven't been able to blog about in a bit.

Reciprocation is something that I have been working on with a couple people. How I do this one is that I will emotionally respond in a similar way to what the person is doing, i.e. if they are being snooty, I am snooty to them. If they are being condescending, I am returning that sentiment. If they are being kind and loving, I am being kind and loving. I have learned that in most of the cases people really don't like the way that they act... well they really don't like the way that I act when I am reciprocating, but this is a two way street and I am very careful to make sure that I reciprocate the love with a little extra when I can. What started this interesting little experiment is that I was really getting annoyed with how a few of the people I know were treating me and others around them, (I have to admit it was a argh revenge kind of move but it is kinda working) I have kept this up for the most part of about a month, but I would like to hear a little input on wither I should continue the experiment or wither I should stop while I am ahead.
The pro's and con's:
Pro's
most of the time when I start to reciprocate the negative emotional input that I am getting it doesn't last long because they don't like the responses and they move on quick.
it doesn't always feel rite or good but in a way it feels like justice, like they are getting what they give so it should be ok.
when I get to reciprocate love (and I do get that chance often) it feels awesome because it is coming from both directions and it seems to overflow onto others around us.
and the last pro I can think of rite now is that I hope by me doing this the recipient of this act may notice what I am doing and may catch on to how they are behaving so that they can at least be aware of what is going on Evan if they don't want to change it.
Con's
it doesn't always feel rite or good
some times I feel like I am lowering my self to a level where I don't want to be that kind of person and most people that know me, know that I am not that kind of person.
and the last con I can think to write about now is that no matter how much I hope that they will notice what I am doing and be able to decide wither they want to continue behaving that way or not I honestly think that a majority of the time they just think I am being a jerk or just having a bad day.

for my loving and patient older bro, I have some ballast's (the things you need to get the lights working again) and I can install them we need to set up a time. [you may need different lights for the new ones] they don't make the old ones that you have in your place any more. and I love you man! I miss you guys so I think I will take you up on that offer to stop by any time.

for my sis whom I adore, yo gorgeous it was fun last night dropping by and playing games and stuff with your hubby, tell him thank you! and tell tom and jake Thanks too. have fun you guys and let me know when I get to run off with you to go get some coco.

for my little bro, Dude you rock I love you lots and I will see ya again soon, maby I can run off with you and your wife some time to go see a movie or to dinner.

for every one else, there is a good chance that I love you too and I may or may not miss you quite as much depending on when I last saw you but I always say if you ever need something or if you ever just want to hang out give me a call, if I ain't busy I will be there and we'll have some fun.

I am sparky hear me fizzle =)

I have now been shocked 4 times once by 120volts, once by I don't know how much but it felt like 277volts, and twice by 277volts for sure. I love my job!
Now I work with some characters and most of them are harmless enough, some times just fun loving and some times just kinda there, there is a new guy that has given me a chance to stop and think about things again just because he likes to talk about lots of crazy stuffs, he likes to make it sound like the world is coming to an end and no one respects any one else and that things are just horrible. I don't really see things his way but I do listen to him and I try and get a feeling for that point of view even if I don't share it. I must say that when you get down to it he is complaining allot about not having things the way that they were or the way that he remembers. I know that life is great and I love life, but I also know that it is going to change and grow as people do and that the quiet little town you live in as a child will grow, I know that where you may have lived in a beautiful big city when you come back 10, 7, heck even 5 years later it may be a little broken down, maybe dirty, maybe even a city... an Dale insite on life "the life of people will change, peoples life's will change, every thing made by people will change like people" now I am not saying that personalty's change allot or fast, and I am not saying that habits change allot or fast, but I am saying that it is a pretty sure bet that part of life will be the necessity to adapt, and work with the changes and the world around you.

now to the fun parts of the blog where I try and tell a story with out a moral.

well maybe I will have to save that for my next blog time for me to be social with RL people.

travel

it is great that I have traveled allot. Because of my wonderful parents I have seen every state in the US except Main and I plan on doing that before I check out of this world. I have seen many of the state parks and many of the natural wonders that this country has to offer. I have been to Hawaii, Alaska, Florida, Cali, you name it, and have seen battlefields, waterfalls, museums, parks, grand canyon, Yellowstone, half dome, great plains, black hills, rocky mountains, Alaskan trail, Kawaii, volcano's, forests, death valley, dunes, you name it. I have a great respect for the power, beauty, awesomeness of nature. I love this country and I love the great things about this country that I have experienced.
I really hope that the liberties and blessings that we have here will be here for my children and for their children as well,

I do lead a charmed life

I just went to see another movie and got a group of my friends together to do it. I loved the movie and would love to talk to any one that wants to hear my opinion about it. That is not what this blog is about tho.
After the movie I was talking with the people that came to the movie with me and when they left I got to thinking about what a "charmed" life that I do lead (courticy of a statment that my sister made several days ago). I am surounded by people that I love, intelligent, kind, caring, and really good people. I am blessed and lucky that I have the family, and friends that I have. One of the things that I really like about every one that I know is that I don't really know just one or two types of people, I have gotten to know allot of people and some mix better than others but every one still gets allong well enough that I can bring together several diffrent minds. Most of the friends I don't bring along with the larger groups are still awesome but are just more comfortable with personal interaction. In my charmed life I have had the oprtunity to experience other peoples points of view, see the world the way that they might see it, and get to understand why they feel the way that they do about certain things. I love just learning about the views of others and where they are comming from, I enjoy seeing the cause and reaction that happens in life every day, I see the world in diffrent ways and grow a little every time another thought and another person shows me his point of view tells me his story. I know that every one has their secrets and I don't want to force those from others, but I do like to hear alot of what people might not say under normal circumstances... Yes, I have alot of fun and intresting conversation with others religon, politics, disasters, happiness, grief, silly stuff, ideas, you name it.
